astounded! (by the headblade)
« on: August 17, 2008, 08:49:33 PM »
today i bought my first headblade. i was busy so a little while ago i went and took a shower, in preparation for my very first headblade shave! so i showered for 6 or 7 minutes, and exfoliated, got my head all clean and what not. so i got out of the shower, and went to the sink. while purchasingmy headblade, i got a few other shaving products(afta, edge a sample ofshaving gel for sensitive skin, palmers cocoa butter lotion[it smell like chocolate!!!]) so i lathered up with the edge shaving gel and picked up my headblade, and placd it at my hairline, and let her rip!!

the first path of bare skin was thin, but visably smooth!, which wasnt someting i saw when i shaved before, with other razors.so i continuedshaving in awe, while putting NO PRESSURE on my headblade. i couldnt believe my eyes. it was soooooooo easy, and soooooooo smooth! i love the headblade. it works so well!
but what really amazed me was that i didnt cut myslef. AT ALL! in every headblade video i have watched, the shaver always says i cut my head up the first time i shaved with headbled, or if you apply pressure to the headblade you will cut yourself! nothing. the only cut i got was a microscopic nick from my fusion i used to touch up in tos hard to reach areas.

all in all, i am amazed by headblade. the only thing is that it took me a while, but it was my very first headblade shave, so thats why it took long, and i plan on getting faster!
too bad the only thing that my walmart sells is the actual headblade, none of the products. i think my cvs sells headlube though. :popo ;D :*))

Welcome to the HB crew. Don't get too cocky about not cutting yourself because just about the time you think you really got it all down, you'll slip up and put some pressure on that blade and "Ouch!".

Glad you had a great first time experience with the HB. It'll become your best friend.
Tis better to have a bald head than no head at all.

That's great you like the headblade.  I used edge shaving gel the first time too.  I found that head slick works better.

That shiny head of yours is something to envy, good job.  O0

Yeah...dont get too cocky like Fr8 said.  I have been shaving for umm lets see....15 months..I was shaving a few days ago...and why on earth I did what I did I have no idea....i took a chunk out of my ear!...bled like you would not believe.  Thing is i didnt know I did it until I got out of the shower and to the sink.  Looked up in mirror and the whole right side of my face and neck and trickling down on my shoulder was blood....lots of it too.  I was so mad.

The only shave that I can remember that was anything closer than the HeadBlade, was the straight razor shaves I would get when  was in the Army........They had an old time barber there that was an artist with the straight blade.  The big difference was that a good shave from the barber would take about 30 to 35 minutes, and with the HB about 3............welcome to the hb family

P.S.  Listen to FR8TRAIN.......The HB will bite you....and fast.... :'(
I was told to think outside the box, how did I get in the box in the first place?
