When it comes to getting great hair, don't look any further than your own mirror. Whether you're a "heart," "round," or "oval," your best cut is determined by your face. Everyone's face is different and it's important to understand that every hairstyle is not for every face shape. To accentuate balance and beauty, strive for a hairstyle that works with your particular face shape. That strategy will not only give you your best look, but also emphasize your best features. Be sure to bring this up with your stylist and make it an important determination in your new look.

My best cut certainly would not be determined by my facial features. I guess the amount of hair you have on your head has nothing to do with that determination???

Flat-top. But that was way back in the early 80's. Been buzzing guard-less since 1984 or so and went sly back in 2005.
I'll see if any pics survived...
Get us those pics, BootedBear !
My favorites include the flattop with very short sides (had one for a while before going sly). Also , for men with a full head of thick hair you can't beat the slicked back look, with no part.

I used to have my hair slicked back with no parting, and I quite liked it, but it took a lot of blowdrying and gel to get it just right!
I had a short mohawk for a couple of months before going sly, which came pretty close to my favourite hairstyle other than sly.
