Hi Guys,
Have been browsing the forum for a while now, looking for some inspiration into going sly. Well, after several months of thought, and years of messing around with various clipper attachemtns, I finally did it last night. I WENT SLY!!!
Got the wife to take it down to a zero, then finished the rest myself. Used a mach 3 and plenty of gillette foam. She loves the look, mainly because it makes me happy. I love the feel, but still get a shock when I look in the mirror!
Takes a bit of getting used to, and reactions have so far been mostly supportive. Think I need some more sun on my head though: fingers crossed for the good old british weather!
Anyway, thanks guys for this great forum, which was WITHOUT DOUBT the support I needed to do this.
As for me now, well there's no turning back. I'm looking forwards to my next shave already!

Way to go! I had a bit of a shock the first day or two looking in the mirror. I guess, like anything else, change is met with uncertainty. Needless to say it's no shock anymore. When I look in the mirror now, all I see is slyness.

Welcome, Stevos. If you have your wife's approval, you've won a gold medal.
The mirror shock goes away soon but is replaced with mirror obsession to make certain you didn't miss a spot.
