Balding - Pock Marks?
« on: August 07, 2008, 12:46:28 PM »
I am in my late 20s and have been losing my hair since I graduated college. Since then, I have been shaving my head without a guard. On the back of my scalp, I have several places that look like pock marks - it looks like there is hair growing in these areas, and the hair is very dark. Any thoughts on this?

It could be that your hair is pigmented differently in those areas.  Have you tried shaving with a razor?
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I am not quite sure what you mean by pock marks, but when i shave my head, I have some darker patches on the back of my head.  I have always just assumed that hair grows at different rates and therefore this is emphasised when short creating small differences in colour.  However I have absolutely no grounding for this.  Do you have a pic?
A SBG's head shines so other SBG's always have the opportunity to see the reflection of how good they look!

I haven't tried shaving with a razor, and unfortunately I don't have a picture. The best way to describe it is that the areas look like small indentions or maybe even small scars. Maybe the fact that there is hair growing from these areas makes it more noticeable.
