I know genetics plays a large part in how we age, but I know there are some things we can do to slow down the aging process. Off the top of my head, these are some I can think of:
- Drink a lot of water
- Don't smoke, drink, or do drugs
- Eat nuts and fruits
- Don't get too skinny (skinny people look haggard and plump people are less wrinkly)
- Lift weights to get a hard physique
- Wear sunscreen everyday
- Exfoliate twice a week
- Use a glycolic acid face wash
- Enjoy life and not get stressed out
Know of any other tips for looking good? Besides staying sly

One way to feel younger and act like it in the process that I have found is to hang around younger people. When I go to a friends place he has 2 teens and they always have friends over all the time. When I am around them I feel younger and I am more likely to act like a teen again lol.

Right along that line...........smile a lot.
If nothing else, people want to be around someone that's in a good mood.

Dog, you're 22. How young do you want to look -- 10?

Seriously -- it's good that you're thinking about this now. As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Good diet, exercise, and general healthy living, as well as protecting your skin from the sun should go a long way toward keeping you looking good as you get older.
The only other thing I can think of to add is to not try
too hard. We all get older and we can't really stop the aging process, but hopefully we can slow it down. It's great if we can shave (no pun intended) a couple of years off our appearances, but I think a good rule of thumb is not to try to look younger than you are. Rarely can people pull this off successfully. Instead, try to look the best you can for your actual age.

I've posted this here before, but since the topic has come up, and since we have a lot of new members, I think this is a pretty useful site:
