Grandma won't let up...
« on: August 05, 2008, 11:27:59 AM »
Some quotes from grandma today,

"It's a shame that the clippers took off your hair up there instead of down there (referring to my beard)"

"Have you ever thought about trying Rogaine?  I heard it works good."

"I know a good hair dresser, I'll tell her about you.  She will probably recommend you grow it out on top, cut the sides short, and then comb it over."

She still can't seem to accept the way I look and when she acts nice to me it seems so fake.  My gut feeling is she is embarrassed to have me as her grandson now.  It is hard to explain, she just seems so phony now and she is being "nice" to make me feel more comfortable around her. :(

Tell her she better be nice to you because you may be the one picking her "retirement" home one day. If she wants one where the help doesn't slap the residents around she should be much nicer to you. ;) :*))

Just hang tough, Dog.  She'll eventually let up if you show your confidence and let her know that this is "YOUR" decision.

I think if you are more confident in your self she will see that and forget about it O0 My grandpa was bald in his early twenties and always wore the comb over look and tried to hide the fact he was bald :-[ I always said if i got MPB i would shave long before it got that bad. Be happy with being SLY BRO and grandma will come around O0 If she does not come around get her the SLY shirt >:D

Or perhaps Gran would prefer "Love Head" (Blade)
