Currently, I live in Fremont, which is a community of Seattle. Fremont is known to be a very "artistic" place, that I'm sure some of you Seattle guys can attest to. Besides the random wierdos, it's a great place for bars and music venues, and has an all-around laid-back attitude. Plus, once a year there is a parade that is kicked off by hundreds of naked bicyclists. and Yes, that's what I love about where i live
. Beyond that, like Marsh said, you can be next to a body of water, a mountain, a forest, within a matter of minutes here. A lot of people who like the best of both worlds (city/nature) find it hard to leave this area.
That said, I'm moving in September to a much less cultured, but quieter suburb of Seattle, called Woodinville. -

Woodinville is pretty nice too, I heard there is a absynthe company opening up there. -

Griffin, Georgia. About an hour south of Atlanta.
The best kept secret in GA. It's one of those towns that is big enough to not know everybodies business, but small enough that someone will call you if they see your kid doing something they ought not to be doing!
