Too small and too far away for me to feel it here in the Valley.

One authority I know says not to bother until 6.3, but I'm not waiting. The Big One's going to hit one day, and hopefully on that day I'm not in Bagdad by the Bay.

we had one in England a little while back that was 5 something on the Richter scale.. apparently, that wasn't no big doozie - most people slept through that!
It's more to do with the depth of the quake anyway

Schro and I would have felt it pretty good if it hit while we were throwin' down in Anaheim a couple Wednesdays ago.
5.4 moves things around a bit, but not much to worry about.

Yeah, it was about 300 miles from my house, so I didn't feel anything. Some of my friends down south got shaken up a bit.

wow, I've actually never felt an earthquake and am sort of wanting to, not a biggie mind you, but just one like this I guess that you all seem to find small...

I have a friend in the SF Bay area and he says it's like a truck rumbling past your house. But it would be a cool thing to experience.. I'd love to see a tornado up close, that would be amazing!
(not too close, mind!)

I lived at one time close to where the SF Bay Area BIG shaker was that dropped part of the Bay Bridge, no thanks any more. We escaped back in 90, and now only use SACTO Airport as a stop over when flying to Hawaii.
But I got friends that still live out there in the land the rumbles

I survived the great Atlanta quake of a few years ago. Happened around 6 AM. I was lying in bed when there was a loud bang. I was trying to determine what it was when the whole house shook. I fell back asleep When I woke up I decided i dreamed it Then turned on the TV and learned Atlanta had their first quake.
