Robert De Niro or Al Pacino
« on: July 28, 2008, 07:14:34 PM »
So which one of the two do you think are the best at their business? Both have been around for a while and both have starred in a hell of a lot of movies. While I do like Pacino in Scarface/Godfather...I think De Niro is the best at what he does, love Coming to America/ Taxi Driver/Raging Bull and he's great at comedy too . I think his acting has far more range and he totally nails this vote for me.

But what do you guys think?

As far as excellence goes I have pick Pacino (Scent of a Woman). When it comes to diverse characters De Niro's got it (Taxi Driver, Cape Fear, Meet the Parents).
Tis better to have a bald head than no head at all.

No doubt DeNiro.  The Deer Hunter has got to be his best

That's like picking between Opus One & Silver Oak.
