Beard Question
« on: July 19, 2008, 07:13:27 PM »
I had a question...i have a long goatee...a lot longer then my avatar, and not quite as wide...i would guess about 5 inches...im thinking of growing a full beard in, but i dont want to cut the long beard and grow it in together. You think i can pull it off without it looking too different.

Thanks

Im the most blue collar manly man, i feel like mr meterosexual when asking this question  :*)) :*)) ;D

Beef,

I don't know if it would look too different.  There are many kinds of looks out there.  I tell you this, I certainly wouldn't give you grief over it.  If I didn't know you from this board, I would think that I better not mess with you!  Probably shouldn't anyway!   :P

But I am a fan of being sly and having a full beard, so I would say go for it.  If you end up thinking the goat looks too long for the rest of the beard, you can always shave it down and the grow out the beard to a much longer length at the same time!

Thanks for the input marsh...
I just think it might start to look too uneven, and i would probably end up shaving it back to the goatee...i like the beard look too...but i am always changing up, and am determined to get this goat ridiculously long...i braid it now, so maybe i will braid it and keep it in some sort of braid until the full beard gets longer...

The last time I grew a beard I cut the goat back short and let everything grow in together.  (**!

I'm sporting a very light grey goatee now kinda like SimplyRed
has his, I just don't feel right with a full or light trimmed beared while sly.

Hey J_B,

Right now I have a full beard, but it's difficult to decide how to end it at your ear.  I'll take a new picture and post it soon.

For those of
but it's difficult to decide how to end it at your ear.

For those of us with glasses, that's easy. It just stops at the arms.

Hey Beef,
Sounds like the goat will look great -- keep it long!  Love to see a pic of the goat braids!
