Electric slowed me way down because I had to go over it so many times (yes, the famed Panasonic Linear).
I can get ready in 20 minutes if I have to, but I like to take my time... so more like 45 minutes to an hour. I enjoy shaving my head so I try and savor the time I guess, it's my reward for waking up.

Don't forget turning around in a counter-clockwise circle. That song works to slow the bleeding, but if you really want to stop it fast the you should actually try singing the Ewok theme song... "We are the E E E E Eeeeeewoks...."

wowwww, are you guys serious? Ok, I have been shaving for a month and a half. First I shaved using the sink. The past week I shaved in the shower. It takes me about 75 minutes to shave well.
If I only take 5-10 minutes I will look terrible, missing so many spots (I use mach 3).
I personally don't mind spending too much time though, but I would certainly love doing it faster. We will see how things go but I envy you guys.

75 MINUTES!...You got to be kidding me...arent you? I could never imagine, other than you must be going really really slow and worried about slicing your scalp. lets all be honest here....if you had to spend 75 minutes standing there shaving your noggin, how many of you would be slick and bald today?
Not me, I would say forget it. I would like to hear what your procedures are.

Ok, I don't run out of hot water. I live in a building and so far it's all good with water.
Procedure: Put my head under the shower for 5-10 minutes. Once a while I add bar soap to wash it.
Then I put on some Gillette Series Shave Gel and wait 5 minutes. Then I start shaving with the grain. This takes 10 minutes for first time. But then I realize I haven't done everything properly so I have to look for missed spots. This takes another 10 minutes. Then I put back shave Gel wait 3 minutes or so and shave against the grain for the top. This takes about 10 minutes if I don't want to cut myself. Ok, rinse out and look for missed spots. The missed spots really take a long time because I always think I'm done but then realize some spots not completed.
There you go. I am certainly not proud of it, would love to do it faster but that's my best.
I cannot say forget it. I get lots of dandruff if I don't shave it off. It really is uncomfortable. Maybe I will give up 3 months from now if I don't get better at it
, who knows? So far I have not lost my patience.

Bmath,
First you gotta get a headblade and use it. The learning curve is less than 20 minutes from the start and soon it will turn to 5.
Second, stop using the soap first, get rid of the shave gel and get some headslick shave cream, then you can pass over it more than once and feel the missed spots.
Use your mach 3 just to go around your ears.
I can't even
masterbate for 75 minutes

Amateur! You're obviously not married!
75 minutes does seem a little extreme. I get up, shave, dress, fill up the coffee cup and out the door in 20 minutes.

just a quick defensive for those guys who are new to shaving.
it is better to take your time and go slow. I walked around with a cut on the front of my scalp last week and had to deal with all the bullshi+ that goes wit it.
when I shave my bathroom routine run about 20 mins... plus extra if I pose in front of the mirror when I'm done.

well those of you who constantly remind me you get everything done in 20 minutes, I say thank you.
It's nice to show me how slow I am.
DuffRyder17 , thanks for the support. You know 75 minutes is a long time but hey if it means not
cutting myself it's worth every second of it. I have obtained a degree in mathematics (bachelor's)
so I am used to taking a long time solving one problem. So, 75 minutes shaving is not so bad
Hopefully in the near future I will get it done faster.
