My husband prefers shaving oil over any other type of products!
He has tried many things over the years but oil seems to work best for him. He also has sensitive skin but no problems with the oil. He shaves his head in the shower with water and oil.

Actually I find sorbolene by Redwin for sensitive skin very good when using the razor and the result is as smooth as a baby's bum lol!

Best shave ever today! I used a pre-shave oil (which I made at home) then used cremo cream on my face and headstick on my head. First time that I didn't get razor burn on my neck and really smooth shave on my head...I'm sold on this process!

I can't speak for Headslick but I've used Cremo to shave my head. It made my head very SLICK! I also like the citrus smell.

I stumbled across a tube of Proraso Italian shaving soap. It lathers nicely wit ha shaving brush. At first I was a bit leary because it's more of a soap, not a cream. I gave it a try and I was amazed how my razor would just glide through this stuff.

I like Proraso, too. It always provides me with a nice lather and a nice shave.

Yea, I use shaving oil consistently under all my shaving soaps and creams, it works the best I think.

I use any old shaving gel, but first rub my head with some shaving oil, King of Shaves is good then apply the gel on top. seems to keep the shaving rash at bay

I've tried a few times without anything, just in the shower...And while I don't get any visible bumps, it does feel pretty irritated for a while.
I've been using Barbasol's Soothing Aloe lately, and it does the trick nicely. It also leaves my head feeling very "refreshed" and smooth, and I think it smells pretty nice. It's also only about a buck a can.
