Oh but Jer..man..you got to get those dead skin cells off your noggin. Just think of all the ewwie gooies that sit on your head all day lol.
I wont exfoliate either, I doubt. I will just get my #0000 sandpaper out if i need to buff the noggin

Yeah, I won't WASH my scalp...sheesh. I prefer to SCRAPE my scalp with my nails to get dead skin up.
Seriously though, I am unconvinced that 'exfoliating' is essential. We wash our scalp daily, no? We shave off those annoying long strands of dead skin that acts as a sweatband and duster for everything around us, no? We scrape our scalp and anything on it with multiple passes of sharp razors, no? What could possibly be left on the top of your head that all this washing and scraping hasn't gotten off?
I USED to have some scalp issues when I had a big thick rug on my head, but since going bald I don't seem to shed any skin. Well, who knows WHAT I shed? I am shaving it twice a day, washing it thoroughly once, and wiping it clean a few times, AND using acne pads twice a day. The only thing I can tell about 'exfoliating' soap compared to others is that it has hard pieces of sand-like things that scrape against my scalp. It sort of falls into the same category as vibrating razors, in my book.

If I don't shave for a couple, I can actually get a decent shave in. For me, shaving every day is a recipe for disaster... razor burn and just a lousy shave. I seem to need a bit of stubble growth before it'll come smooth.

the st ives or the target/wal mart imitation does wonders! dont waste your time or money on the nivea scrub....its a bunch of crap. too watery and doesnt really exfoliate anything! once this tube is done i'm back to my equate apricot scrub(target or wal mart brand)

Babzog, I agree. I shave everyday, but on weekends that I don't shave, I get the baby smooth noggin after Monday's scrape

If you are shaving with a blade you are already exfoliating.

That's not what exfolitation is. Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells, and you are scraping them off any time you drag a blade across skin.

you are correct but it is better to use an exfoliating cleaner on the dome first and remove as much as you can along with the cleaning the pores.
