The right attitude.
« on: January 10, 2007, 06:22:58 AM »
A friend of mine sent me this after I sent her a pic of my new look (which she thought looked awesome  ;D):

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror,
and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
"Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today."
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had
only two hairs on her head.
"H-m-m, " she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today."
So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she
had only one hair on her head.
"Well," she said, "today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail."
So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there
wasn't a single hair on her head.
"YEAH!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!"

Attitude is everything.

Have a Good Day! Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is
fighting some kind of battle.

Thought this would be an appropriate note for the SBG board,

I think that's the underlining theme of this site - it's all about the attitude.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

This one is getting filed in the inspirational stories bin
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." - Theodore Roosevelt

If you got it, you flaunt it.   Let people know you rock and either they follow suit, or you zoom by them in the fast lane.

Funny you mention "flaunting it", David.

Whenever I have gone golfing, running, or spent extended times outside, my first move has been to put on a hat. Now, I actually WANT to show off my new SLY look. Maybe once the warmer months come around and I need a little more sun protection, I may reach for the hat again. But right now, showing off the dome is what I want to do.

Amazing....I guess deep down, I may have been a little self-conscious of losing my hair.

Attitude is definitely everything !
