So, I'm heading there in a couple weeks for business.  It's been quite a long time since I've been there, so I need some recommendations for some restaurants/bars please...

Here's a link to bars in Charleston.  I love CitySearch for when I travel!

People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I've never been much on the bar scene but I there are lots of good restaurants.  Hymens is good.  A.W. Shucks is good.  Queens Anne's Revenge is pretty good.  I'll try to remember some of the others I've been to and add them here.

If you fine a chick while you're down there I recommend taking her to Waterfront Park.  Great big deck with swings and benches that looks out at the new Cooper River Bridge.  Lots of lights, very romantic.  Worked for me during my last visit.

I'm only there for a couple of days... but I can work fast if needed!   ;)

Thanks for the tip...

IIRC, Patrick's Pub and Grill is an Irish pub, they had great food, great beer on tap, and a live band in the evening.

Beer, food and live music...life is good
In a bacon and eggs breakfast, the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed. BE THE PIG!!!

Being an ex-Navy man, you might enjoy seeing the carrier Yorktown (as well as several other ships) at Patriot's Point.

I've seen that already... and my dad was stationed on her when she was in commission!
