My wife and I were talking about this the other day, and she tells me (She's much more a "newsie" than I am - I can get my daily dose of news in under 5 minutes by browsing yahoo and google news) that this drop in gas prices is actually consumer driven. Apparently, people all over the nation have curtailed their driving so severely that it was really beginning to hit those who profit from gas sales in their pocketbooks enough that they took notice, and figured they'd rather have a smaller profit margin, and more gas sales. She also went on to say that because we are creatures of habit, and we've already curtailed our driving so much - it'll take a pretty big change in prices to get us to resume our old level of "mobilization." - I am not saying this is fact or fiction (as I don't know) but it's dang sure an interesting theory!
i say everyone buy a horse and buggy.....then they would raise the prices of grain..
