Hey guys just doing an introduction for some kind of official marker. Real name is Koray and I am almost full Turkish (hence the alias) but nevertheless despite my hairy middle east family roots I am in fact going bald
I started losing my hair probably around age 17 or so. It used to really bother me, but eventually I decided to take some steps to improve my general outlook. I used to have very long hair so I had a MAJOR transition to buzzcuts that happened overnight seemingly. Up to this point It has gotten shorter and shorter but about 1 month ago I shaved it off and clean and while I liked the look, I figured for now I would keep it stubbly short and I personally like the look a lot 
I'll take this moment to give a shout out to any members that are near my age and suffering from MPB. You are your own worst critic and I used to have a really bad attitude about losing my hair and thought my chances with the ladies were pretty much gone for good. I'm pleased to say that I have a wonderful girlfriend (that I got while I was bald
) and it doesn't even bother her at all. Your life is not in shambles if your balding at this young of an age, just go with the flow, workout, keep yourself healthy, educated, and charismatic and you're pretty much set.

Koray, my man, it's an honor to make your acquaintance. I really like your outlook in life, and it'll serve you well for many years to come. Like many of the problems we'll face in our life, going bald is SOMETHING, but it's not EVERYTHING.

Hey man,
I had not read your full post until this morning and you are wise beyond your years. In the big scheme of things going bald at any age is the least of our worries, unless there is an unresolved health issue involved of course. Great advise for those in your age group or any age group for that matter. Reminded me of words in a song I heard years ago by a guy named Joe Diffie.

Nice story. So Cal is the place to be if you're bald...seems like 1 in 10 are!
TONS of bald dudes there...it's almost the thing to be!
