Hi, has anyone tried the atkins diet, i did once but did not eat any veg. I lost 2 stone but felt awful. Going to try again but how much carb to protein should you eat. I do not go to the gym  but keep fit with a bit of exercise.

My advice would be to try "The Zone"..it's the 30-30-40 way of eating....

very balanced and helps you think of food differently!

I believe in high-ratio of protein to carbs.

But the Atkins is a bit extreme, IMO....I have done the Atkins, and it's great when you're in ketosis and burnin the fat...but one little mistake (just a little too many carbs) and you're kicked out of ketosis....and it takes about 3-4 days to get it back.

The best I've come across as far as slow-carbs, high-protein is one that Tyler turned me on to.....and I've done A WHOLE LOTTA DIFFERENT REGIMENS.
