MPB kind of shoved me towards the Sly look. But I would not be considered "bald". So put me in the camp of being a "Balding BBC". If I was to grow the hair back, I have a high forehead with the "peninsula" in the middle of the head eroding away. The "cul-de-sac" on the back of the head is getting thinner. So eventually the two areas will probably meet. But here is a picture taken about 2002.

OK. There are 1813 members of this forum and I can only get 37 votes in this poll?
How pathetic. C'mon, inquiring minds, newbies, lurkers, fence sitters, etc. want to know.
I couldn't vote because there's no choice for both.

Suuuuuuure, now you add the 'both' option lol.

I honestly don't think (Ok, I'm 99.9% sure) I wouldn't have shaved my head if I had a full hairline... Guess it was just meant to be.

Have any of you thinning guys been suddenly surprised to realize how much hair you've lost since you started shaving? I've been noticing lately that my crown is always nice and slick. It used to be the spot where the stubble came back first. I was receding from the front but always had plenty of hair in the back. That no longer seems to be the case.

When I was a kid, I had a dime sized bald spot and it was a bit back from the front of my head. After I started shaving, I eventually noticed that the MPB has since swallowed it.

Like Lucky13MN I too am BBC because of MPB. MPB, a family trait, and the pepper evaded very quickly once the salt started to shine. So, I went BBC and according to wife: Look Younger (w/o gray) and the shine is complete.
I wear a Glow for a Fro, by now you should know - My Bling don't cost a thing!

Just in case no one's seen my 'before' pic on the 'before and after' gallery, her it is again. I can't believe now how high my receding hairline was becoming!
Wowsers Rob!! Have you ever been told that with hair you bear an uncanny resemblance
to Gomez from the movie The Addams family?!!
(no offence intended!)
No offence taken!
Mostly people used to tell me I looked like Freddie Mercury, so that's a new one on me!

I'm gonna go with both, since like many of the other bro's, my mpb has made me become bbc.
I can still grow plenty of hair, but with the "hole in back" and the top front starting to get thinner and thinner, I just don't dig the look.
Smooth is way better!
