Well, I'll be working Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, doing my part 'ruining' peoples vacation plans. So many people transit through us to get to Buffalo and upstate N.Y. so it's going to be a VERY busy weekend, especially when you look through someones car, there is their list of things to pack and right at the top is 'Weed'

Well, it all gets destroyed. it starts by getting analyzed and tested by Health Canada first then they incinerate it. Contrary to popular belief, we don't keep it for ourselves, nothing we seize we keep, no matter how tempting it is to take those fireworks and light them off in my front yard...

My plans for the 4th of July....spending the entire week at the park working a fundraiser booth selling food and drinks. Washington has a week long celebration that will begin on Monday and last thru the 6th Carnival rides, games, entertainment and etc. Should be alot of fun if the heat and humidity keep at bay.

Our neighborhood always does a big potluck, so we'll go to that. Although it's going to be an early night because on July 5th, me, The Lovely Mrs. Schro, and our kids are boarding a plane for a week in
MAZATLAN

Spending a week swimming, water sports, chillin', eating, and sipping cervezas is just what the doctor ordered.

4th July?
The date rings a bell but I can't think why.
I'm working in the morning and then we have a company 5 a side football (soccer) tournament in the afternoon followed by a few drinks. Nothing celebrationary about that on this side of the pond.
On the Sunday I have a day pass from the family to go and enjoy my bike. I've got a 200 mile route planned with some stops for refreshments along the way (unless the weather is cack).

What Dave? You don't celebrate the 4th of July over there?

I mean, I would think that you blokes would love to have just one more reason to celebrate. After all, living the the great Republic of California, USA, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo (the 5th of May) a Mexican celebration of the battle for the state of Puebla, May 5, 1862, just so we have a reson to guzzle margaritas and eat Mexican food.

Ha ha . . . in America we celebrate everyone's national holidays (except maybe Bastille Day) as an excuse to drink and eat to excess.
