Am I the only guy who shaved his head with a full head of hair?

I appreciate the forum 100%.  I just shaved my head tonight for some strange reason; maybe I was having a brittney moment   

anyways,,   It took me about 3 hours, much longer than I thought it would, and I only cut myself one time 

But, as I am browsing here, it seems that it is all about mpb.  Are there any other guys who just wanted to see what they would look like?  I finally realized how ugly I am, lol...  espeially from the profile.  However, I do have that numbing thing going, which is pretty cool....

Welcome!  From looking at both pictures (ignoring the goofy expression  )  there really is no question about it.  The sly look is so much better and it takes years off your appearance.  I hope you keep it that way because it really is a natural look for you!

Actually there are quite a few guys on the forum that are BBC (Bald by Choice).  I'm one of them.  I didn't have MPB, but had a recedeing hairline much like you.

The sly look really suits you.  The time to shave your head will get more manageable once you've done it a few times.  Read some of the headshaving posts and decide if shaving in the shower is a good option for you.  I converted to a shave in the shower guy and this has made it much faster and easier.

Oh, BTW, we'd like to salute you for just doing the deed and not waffling about it for three weeks

Full head of hair here!  I went sly a couple of years ago just because ....... that's it.......just because!

I have to tell you man, going sly took at least 10 years off your look.  Looks great!

Welcome Nick!  Same story here.  I have a full head of hair and went slick for good two months ago.  Takes me about five minutes each morning to keep the dome clean.  Everybody's right...you look years younger.  Stay sly bro.

same here.  i have what most would call a 'full head of hair', although receding at the temples.  My hairline was pretty much like yours, Nick, or yours, baldy46.  I just wanted a change, and the shaved dome is cool.   And now there's just no going back!

I have  hair...when I grow it...if I grow it.  I just have a receeding hairline like most guys my age.  But bro....it suits you fine.  Makes you look alot younger.  I say stick with it.  Oh and the 3 hour shave thing.....you will cut that down to just 15 minutes before long.  First time I shaved....it only took me a half hour....but 3 hours??? OMG

So true, yep yep.  A receding hairline is MPB.  I guess I don't look at it that way, as I have no balding on my crown.
