Hey Guys,
I was telling this to my wife, but I'm not sure if it is my imagination (which I don't think it is) or if I am projecting a more confident aura.
It seems like people are dealing with me different. I am getting more respect in a way. People almost seem a little intimidated. Not happy about intimidating people because I was never that type of guy, but this is just something I noticed.
Also, I was walking my little dog (the best shi tzu in the world) and a woman was driving by and gave me a big smile. Not sure if she was smiling because my little guy is so cute or if she digged the bald head.
Has anyone else noticed the slight difference in the way people who don't know you respond to the new look.
Welcome to the sly world, this type of thing happens all the time.
Yeah bro, it's a very common side affect. Use your power wisely!
I'm think it's for real, Stemikger! I've been getting that impression too now that I've been sly in public more and more now.
stemikger when you headshave you have 2 deal with these two factors.
I consider them extra benefits.
The first being the chicks-dig-it factor. The second being the intimidation factor. You'll learn to live with them.
Rodger, Over and Out
I can't speak for those bbc (Bald By Choice) SLY brothers because I was dealing with MPB (Male Pattern Baldness). But I can say I got a huge shot in the arm when I went sly. I thought I was pretty comfortable with the fact I was destined to have the horseshoe of hair. But I am totally diggin' the fact that I'm slick.
I no longer reach for a hat first thing in the morning, I love cruisin' around town without a hat, and I totally dig the completely unsolicited head rub. Plus, I think I get a one or two shot advantage on the first tee of a golf match. My opponents are already thinking "There's no way this bald dude in a hawaiian shirt can beat me". Yet at the end of the day, they're usually peeling off the greenbacks!
Like others have said "use your power wisely".
stemikger: it gets better everyday!
