Your point is taken Rafter, but we'll have to agree to disagree on Mr Ramsey.  I wish they'd put Nigella Lawson's show on BBC America.

Do you remember the BBC cooking show, 'Two Fat Ladies'. Quite sad the old biker chick died. RIP  O0

The grass is always greener, I suppose.  BBC America showed a lot of promise when it was first launched, but it is a total waste of time now.

what makes it even more criminal is that pretty much ALL of the beebs programmes are tripe!

Or repeats or repeats or repeats or repeats or repeats etc etc lol

Yes, that too.   That's what was so infuriating when they took EastEnders off.  Said the ratings were too low - well, they kept moving it all over the schedule so no one knew when it was on and they would only show the omnibus edition -- all 5 episodes back to back -- how are you going to attract new viewers that way?  Nobody is going to sit down for 2 1/2 hours at one stretch and try to figure out who is who and what the heck is going on, if they aren't already familiar with the characters and storyline.   They replaced it with programming that was a repeat of what was already being shown two times a day.  I couldn't figure out how showing a rerun for the third time was going to get them the higher ratings they were looking for.   :/O

OK, confession.  I'm hopelessly addicted to the totally cheesy Bargain Hunt.  David Dickinson's taste in suits has got to be the worst of anyone in Britain.  Do you have a Worst Dressed List there?  If so, he must make it every year.
