I'm still in "orange heaven" after Team Netherlands beat Romania yesterday. Guess the Netherlands will be playing one of those teams you've mentioned.
Saturday 21st June Basel, June 21 19:45 BST
Quarter-final: Netherlands vs
Russia or Sweden

It's the Netherlands vs Russia, Saturday 6/21 2:30 p.m (ABC Network)
I was hoping that Netherlands would play Sweden in the quarterfinals.
Unfortunately Russia beat Sweden in Innsbruck to set up a clash with coach Guus Hiddink's native country the Netherlands in the last eight of Euro 2008.

Netherlands looks good. Germany v Portugal tomorrow could be promising. I'll be taking an extended lunch for that.

podolski was injured in the last game. something with his leg.
bad point for fights.
another player has a broken rib.
the german coach is not allwoed to be on the field during this game.
the second coach has to manage the game.

Yeah. Too bad Ronaldo isn't allowed to be on the field for this game. Although, he's great to watch on the field, as long as he's not up against your squad.

I coach little league soccer. Our last game was yesterday and after the game we watched the Netherlands vs Russia.
Very disappointed in the outcome (Russia 2, Netherlands 0)
Looks like a Spain vs Russia final.
Unfortunatley, Italy doesn't stand a chance.

Awesome... Spain vs Germany final.
Damn, I knew I should have put a bet on at the start of the tournament.
hmm.. I'm gonna predict that Spain will beat Germany 4 - 2.
They've outclassed all the other teams so far, I reckon it's a given.
Come on Spain!!

I'll admit, I haven't been watching a whole lot of Euro Cup right now because the Copa Libertadores is on now as well. For those of you that don't know that one, it's one of the 2 major tournaments in South America. Copa de Oro is between the countried of the Americas, and the Copa Libertadores is all the top league teams from each country competing. I'm going absolutely nuts right now cause the 2 years I lived in Quito Ecuador, I was a huge fan of Liga Deportiva Universitaria and this year they are in the finals against Fluminense FC from Brazil. If any of you are able to catch that game it's sure to be a great one too!
