Talking up Sly Bald Guys website
« on: June 16, 2008, 05:48:48 AM »
It's the season for the big street fairs and other summer events in Chicago.  I'll be out this coming weekend (6-21) at The Highland Games in Oakbrook, Illinois handing out cards to Sly and potentially Sly guys.  Of course, I'll be kilted, out and about amongst my kilted brothers  O0

Red, thanks for promoting the site!  I look forward to seeing the Sly Guys roll in!

I had a good morning at The Highland Games in Oak Brook, Illinois on Saturday.  Gave out a bunch of SlyBaldGuys.com cards to Sly kilted and trousered dudes.

Here are a couple of the more intimidating ones.

Not one highland lass?  :o

When I went romancin', :@`
I gied no thought to any weddin' ring;
Ev'ry bonny lassie was my highland fling.
No chance was I chancin',
I'm not the mon you dangle on a string,
I was canny, waitin' for the real, real thing.
Though I danced each girl
In the twist and twirl
Na' one would do,
An' I went my way
Till the fatal day
In the fling I was flung with you.
Oh, now my heart is prancin',
Drunk as a lord and happy as a king,
The years I'll weather
In the hame or on the heather,
With my one and only highland fling.

Hey Anthony,

I think Sinead is Irish.

Never heard of Red Mist, but I'll take a look around Chicago.

Cheers,

Red

Nope, no free T-Shirt.  I didn't even know they had a T-Shirt for the event.
