Yeah, Nick. I used the lectric shave. Great stuff. Have yet to find the remington shave stick in a store...I might have to look online for it.

Thanks Mason. I checked CVS, no luck. But I'll have to try Walgreens. Didn't even think of that place for some reason. I might check Walmart too, actually.

Just switched to the Philips Norelco 8060X Wet/Dry Shaver
I get a very close headshave with it.

I just ordered this guys --Panasonic wet/dry with nano blades(whatever that is ...)
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=173423&catid=36465
This got really good reviews all around the net and 104 is the cheapest price BY FAR. Its wet/dry so I really liked that--no mess in the sink.
I will post a review when I get it.

Hey DJ,

Here's my suggestion for using the Panasonic shaver:  You'll want to prep the scalp same as if you'd be shaving with a blade.  If you don't have shaving oil get some and use it with the Panasonic and shave in the shower.  Be careful when you start using the electric of sensitive areas.  I had some minor irritation on the back of my head at my neckline because I shaved it too many times the first time around.

If you haven't seen it already, check the Definitive Guide to Shaving Your Head at: http://www.allaboutshaving.com/

I'd start with something like Shave Secret Oil and see if my skin would tolerate it since you're proned to breakouts.

http://www.shavesecret.com/ Should be available at Wal-Mart, right guys?

My personal favorite to use with the Panasonic is Anthony Pre-Shave Oil.  It is quite a heavyweight as shaving oils go, but with the speed that the Panasonic shaver runs I feel that I need the extra protection.  It's the high-performance synthetic that high RPM shavers need  O:O

Another one that's in my medicine chest is Pacific Shave Oil.  This one was recommended by Tyler.  I use it for face shaving.

I always wash my face and head with soap after my shave to remove the oil.

I'm new to it but i've tried both the electric and the blade. I have a panasonic 8043 electric and it is what i used to first time. Came out smooth. Then yesterday i used a blade for the first time and there's a huge difference. I pretty much lasted all day until i had any stubble at all. With the electric i had stubble by lunchtime. Of course with the electric you can shave while your sitting on your couch or driving your car. Either one works, but the blade is faster and last longer.  Just my 2 cents.
