He could be a real tough and sharp interviewer, and at times he annoyed both conservatives and liberals.  He also seemed to be a very amiable type.  It's a real big loss for NBC; he probably was their best journalist.

Wow, he's one of the few journalists on TV that I respected.  That's a tragedy for the journalist community.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I too enjoyed Tim Russert.  His moderation style was such that he truly seemed unbiased and he rarely let politicos off the hook when they tried to skirt the answers.  He seemed like a good family man as well - a tragic loss for the world of journalism and for his family.
