crossing over to the sly side

I'm 21 and have been thinning quickly for a couple years. I considered surgery and other remedies but never felt right about them. I started thinking about it more and more and soon became much too preoccupied with the way my hair looked. I've considered shaving it off for a few months but haven't had the guts to actually go through with it. I found SBG last night, lurked for an hour, had a beer, and grabbed a razor to smooth my dome.
I think it looks great! I haven't had many reactions to it yet. I posted a picture online for my friends and family to see so I'll get those reactions soon and I'm sure my date tomorrow will be surprised. I'm curious to see what they say, but either way I definitely like my new look and will keep it for a while.
Thanks for all the advice and for the confidence.
Some information about me: I grew up in New Hampshire, live in Baltimore temporarily. I'm a big sports fan and I love anything and everything that goes fast enough to scare me. I just graduated from Annapolis with a bachelor's in IT and I'm moving to Pensacola, FL next week to start flight school.

Welcome aboard senormac. Great to have you with us. As a graduate of Pensacola flight school myself, know you will have a blast. BTW, our fellow Sly Guy Warhawk is a Pensacola resident.

Another born-and-bred New Englander. Welcome. It took lots of cojones to do what you did. I say give it the 30 day trial. My bet is that you'll be hooked.
Congratulations on your graduation. The flight school sounds awesome.

Congrats MAC08! And welcome to the Forum!
I was raised in southwest Baltimore..... in a Hellish part of town, even back then.

Welcome, it works
.
Now, you lurkers and fencers, follow MAC08's instructions, beer first, razor second, and you can put your life back on track. No more malingering and delay--it's simple! Now get moving
