hello fellow chrome domes: when was the last time U cut or nicked your dome? i'll start: as most of U know... my wifey shaves my dome 50-75% of the time. however... the 1st few months of my headshaving "career" my wifey was shaving my dome 100% until one weekend last summer 2007. my wifey went out of town 2 visit her family & i had no choice but 2 do the deed myself if i wanted 2 continue wearing a slick noggin'. anyways... i did fine the 1st day but on the 2nd day i nicked myself 4 the 1st time.

i can't remember the exact date but it was around summer 2007.
so... how 'bout U? when was the last time U cut or "nicked" your dome? what's your story?

Today!!!

Fucking Headblade tore a chunk out of my scalp and I bled like a pig for about an hour. Ended up being late for work because I refused to leave the house with a piece of Kleenex stuck to my head. I've nicked and cut myself before, but never anything like this. Usually I don't even feel it when it happens. This one hurts!

Last week, I stayed the night at my girl's house and didn't bring my fusion or HB. She wanted me to shave my head, so i used her venus. Bad idea.

Every once in a while I'll cut myself, but it's usually just a little nick, never a chunk like RazorX.

I nicked myself just yesterday morning. I thought that I would try going over everything again with my fusion and got going a little too fast. It took awhile to get this one stopped also. But not anything like Razor's. Only a Headblade could do damage like that.

I regularly manage to pick up a few nicks. I think this may be because I try to use a razor well past its best.
I have a small nick on the back of my head that I am trying to work around at the moment but forgot this morning and opened it up nicely.

I haven't nicked myself in a few weeks. But nicks are an occasional occurence.

Just this morning, on the back of my head. I guess this means 1) after a week of shaving I'm being less careful 2) I'm trying to shave closer to get that sly smoothness we all want. I guess the occasional nick is inevitable.

I've cut myself a total of 4 times. Twice on the back of my ears (purely a result of being lazy and careless and not pinning my ear down with my free hand) and twice on the back of the head, which was due to me applying downward pressure on the HeadBlade. None of those nicks were serious and were done bleeding by the time I got out of the shower.

it's been a few months since I actually drew blood... but I did have a pretty bad case of razor burn from using a dull blade + not enough lather earlier this week
