I was already sly when I got to this forum.  But it was a place called, "The Hairfree Homepage" that initially influenced me to do the deed.  That homepage went dormant for quite a few years then came back.  Unfortunately everyone else passed it by because if it's inactivity.  That was about 1997 when I first really did the deed and stayed sly for quite awhile.  I ended up on some other boards for awhile.  Then I found this site.  It has been a fun and encouraging journey here at Sly Bald Guys.  As for my "Slyneversary", I have been continually sly since the day after Mother's Day in 2004.  Prior to that I have shaved off and on.

i "did the deed" back in april 24, 2007 & joined up on SBG forum on june 5, 2007.  i was an electric razor shaver but after joining up & reading some of the headshaving routines & product reviews i discovered the fusion (manual) & my electric razor has been collecting dust since.  i have gathered many tips on headshaving in this forum but more importantly... i have made some new FRIENDS.

At this time last year I was on the fence, but I was thisclose to finally jumping off.
You guys gave the encouragement and helpful input I needed.
A lot changed since then, I moved to a new state and it just coincided with starting at a new point, and a new outlook in my life.
I haven't looked back and I feel more confident than ever. It's like I've always been sly.

Thanks to all you great guys who helped and encouraged, most of you are here, but a few we don't see very often anymore.
