Dan,

It looks great. That will be a nice cool haircut for the hot summer days.   Works well for the winter too.

I should be asleep but I just can't. Between having a bit too much caffeine and this buzz I got from the baldness I just can't sleep!
Dan

Now that's the cool newbie feeling I loved and forgot about....that's first "D@MN, I did it , I'm frickin' BALD!"

Enjoy it bro!

Remember how your smooth dome felt against your pillow in the beginning?

Yea, accompanied with the whole "what the F did I do thing...in a good way" goin' through your head, made for not such a restful nite!

Dan, I guess I'm late to the party, but congrats anyway!  It looks great, and your head shape fits the look.  Be careful around that ear; it looks like you gashed it pretty well, so it may take a few days to heal up enough to take a blade to that area.  The head is pretty resilient though, and will toughen up over time.
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

Dan, that took guts! I like your persistance. You were going to bald despite your uncooperative shaving gear. Now you've got the coolest summer cut. Stay cool dude, and headshave.

Welcome, you're now part of the gang.

Thanks guys

My head is still pretty sensitive, but it's feeling better.

I got some weird responses. Ranging from "seal head" to "not bad" (mostly on the seal head side lol) but I didn't mind them. Most of them were just joking around anyways. Some tried to call me a nazi because of the neonazi skinhead subculture that is an offshoot of punk skinheads in the UK. I told them that not every bald guy is a racist by default and that it was just one group in a long line of people to sport shaved heads.

A few people touched my head. Guys thought it was amazing and weird, and the girls liked it. And hey, the girls liking it is the important part ;)

Strange feelings. Showering was an awesome feeling. Everything feels so weird against my scalp. it feels so much cooler than before. Even the lightest breeze feels great. Just gotta be careful near the sun ;) Also feeling a little bit....tougher. I looked at myself in the mirror with my shirt off ad I look stronger now  :o I'm a pretty wimpy basement dweller type, and it made me look...almost fit lol. Being bald rocks! :@`

ROCK!

Keep it smooth my newly balded bro!

If you've got the time once school lets out, why not hit the gym and lift a few weights?  It doesn't have to be anything too heavy, just enough to tone up and complete that "tough" new look.   ;)

Glad to hear things went so well for you.  Keep your head shaved for the summer.  By fall, you'll have forgotten what it was like to have hair. 8)
