Attention Texans
« on: June 03, 2008, 02:51:55 PM »
I love Texas!!

I just got back from a trip to San Antonio and I loved it! What a great place! TX is such a nice, clean state. The people are cool, and I just dig the whole vibe. I stopped in Austin and liked that too. But San Anton really was great.

I would defiantly like to live there and wouldnt mind being adopted texan

Nick,  I'm glad you had a great time.  Texas has a bit of everything anyone could want (coast, mountains, deserts, canyons, piney woods, prairies, big cities, small communities, lakes, beautiful ladies, and the Dallas Cowboys).  Sometimes we even hire retired Military Personnel.  O0  It would be good to have you join us.

Sounds a bit like California!

By the way, I would agree with that assessment, Paul.
I can't drink enough to get California politics out of my system.

I'd have to concur.  I've been to Houston before and on the way to Mexico last year my family spent some time in Dallas/Fort Worth.

VERY VERY nice people.

Austin's a great town. If you can survive the drivers.

Beans? In chili? That's just crazy talk! ;)

(I actually put black beans in one of my chili recipes. No one has shot me yet.)

One thing I did notice in Texas though was lotsa REALLY BIG people.  I mean big,  as in in a huge wheelchair and can't walk big!!

That and lotsa really big vehicles.  I've never seen so many full size trucks and especially SUV's.
