Go Smooth, Bro !!!

Welcome to the best site online! Looking at your pic you almost look all the way bald from the front so you will look great all the way sly. I love my headblade, it took me a couple tries to get it right but now I love it. When you go sly post some pics.

Red, welcome to the Sly Asylum.  As you can see, Timmay is the head patient!  But as in other asylums, the patients often think they are in charge!

Anyway, Red, I agree that you have a excellent head shape for going sly!  This is the day of the bald head!  Do the deed!

Red, welcome to the SBG's, the best site on the net!

Good to hear you are planning to go smooth, and I think you should use the HeadBlade as your shaver of choice. As Tim has said, it's not hard to master and soon becomes very natural feeling.
Take it slow of course, and keep the pressure of the blade end, just let it roll and do it's job. Stick with it and you'll have it down in no time.
Don't worry about trying different blades at first, just get it down and when you are comfortable with how it works, you can try doubles to see if they give you a better shave. You may just want to stick with triples, each is a matter of personal preference.
Good to have you with us, and get that noggin' smooth , bro!    O0
