Favorite Jimmy Buffett songs
« on: May 28, 2008, 09:28:30 AM »
OK, I realize there are a few big Jimmy Buffett fans (me & BaldRob come to mind), but I'm sure everyone has a Buffett song or two they like. These past few days I've been chained to my desk cranking on work (June 30th is our fiscal year end). But, I've had Buffett playing on the iPod to get me thru the day and it's made it bearable. So, what's your favorite Jimmy Buffett Song? Here are a few of mine:

The Wino & I Know
Manana
The Weather is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful
Love & Luck
The Pascagoula Run
Scarlet Begonias

I like that one about drinking on the beach...

Changes in latitude, changes in attitude.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes
Margaritaville

Actually, there is quite a bit of difference in his songs... everyone always seems to judge his music by "Songs You Know By Heart", yet those are the mainstream tunes.

And... you could say that about any artist!

Evidenced by the fact that most of the songs mentioned in this thread are on that compilation CD.
