Either way, I enjoy both, but the wife doesn't, guess I should learn how to cook them myself.

Get to the American South and I can show you some good places where the food is .... well, soulful, and the waitress still calls you honey.

I'm not a big fan of humidity (born and raised in Nor Cal), so my ventures past the Rockies are limited. ALthough I did take a trip to the Boone/Banner Elk area of North Carolina with my wife. It was great because at 4,000 ft elevation, the humidity was not a factor (we were there in July). Some of the best grub I've ever had was on that trip (fat fried in fat, with a side of fat). The southern gravy & biscuits are one of my favorite dishes. Along with hush puppies and sweet tea, Y'all.Talk about flatulence, I wish I didn't like mexican food so much. I think I was mexican in a prior life.
