Shaving oil experience

After searching the archives and reading up on shaving oils,i decided to set out last night in search of said products in my area. Alas, not one of the Walgreens,Albertsons,Rite-Aids,etc had shaving oil. Not a one. I did see a lot of Headblade products and only 2 had King of Shaves gels (i picked one up to try it out later as well).
Then i went against my usual judgement and walked into Wally world in search of this Shaving Secret oil.
Such a tiny container! But the price was right so i bought it and came home.
This morning was the time to try it so i followed the instructions and added a few extra drops for good measure.
All i can say is wow!
This oil was a delight to use and really did a superb job in getting my shave close to my scalp. It smelled good (cloves) and i was mightily impressed! I had been using Headslick as a shaving fixture but think i will switch over.
AND........ the oil practically eliminated the bumps and red marks.
All said,i'm a new convert.

Really slick (pun intended) stuff isn't it Jim? I use it in conjunction with my HeadSlick and couldn't be happier. It's just not the same shaving without it.

I will have to try it that way and see if it changes anything.Although i cannot imagine how it could be better.I might also try adding a few drops of olive oil, which is my oil of life! I use so much of it i could put other Italians and Sicilians to shame!! Now i'm getting hungry

Nice endorsement Jim.
Shoot, with all the various shave products that are getting my interest, my medicine chest is going to have more stuff in it than my liquor cabinet!

Well, maybe not.

Oh yes.My tiny medicine cabinet is starting to overflow. And i just ordered some goodies from Headblade on monday:The toiletry bag, some clearhead(hope that works well) and the small travel pack.
So even more to use on the melon!
Hey warhawk,i used the headlube after the secret shave and they work well together too. I won't give up the headslick altogether but admit the oil is working great!
Now i want to try the Pacific Shaving oil.See how it works.

I used shave secret for years on my face. The transition was easy going to my head. I've tried other things (gels, headslick...) nothing else comes close for me. I'm glad your a experiencing the same effect.

I just used my KoS oil yesterday after quite a while, and you forget what a good job it does.
It also helps with your second pass, even with using simple soap; slick as glass.
A bit harder rinsing the gunk, but if your a shower shaver it's not too bad.

I always use shave oil under my shave cream, especially in the back of my noggin where it's kinda like ski-hill moguls.
Has save me lots of blood and tears
