I'm new to Sly. I had some obnoxious spiked up hair in high school before it was cool, when it was cool, and then after it was cool.

I decided to go 180 and get a crew cut, but no stylist would do it. Three places actually refused to give me the cut I wanted! I bought a set of clippers and did it myself. I've played with the length and finally shaved a few years ago. Pretty wild when strangers come up to you and ask if they can touch your head!

As for the gear, I don't use HeadBlade stuff (never tried, but I'm considering it). Edge shave gel and Gillette Mach 3 blades have been the best combo I've found. When I started I was using some 99-cent can of Barbasol and disposable blades.

Anyhoo, I'm glad I found this site. Time to go poke around.
Welcome to the group Irish. I find that curious that nobody would give you a buzz.

Welcome BI!
Nice intro...and the bald dome looks great!
Hey: welcome to SBG's. cool look goin on there.

I remember being told that a crewcut 'flat top' would cost me extra when i asked for one before going sly. Something to do with it being a difficult cut to get right!

The guy who was my barber was sly, so probably he was a little out of practice?!

Don't mess with success. No need to change your shaving gear.
