Ready to sly
« on: May 16, 2008, 06:11:02 AM »
Hey guys I joined up a while ago after coming across the site in my attempts for a miracle cure at hair loss. Low and behold I found it. Going to be sly this weekend.

My story I guess...

I'm almost 20 and have always had longer hair. About a year ago I ran into trouble with the law and had to get a short clean cut to impress the judge, and realized how much head I had compared to hair. Probably one of the most depressing feelings at my age. Everyday I stressed over the face that I was going bald. I wouldn't go outside if it was windy, I wouldn't go swimming or tubing or jet skiing. I basically wouldn't have the fun that I did.

Lurking around here though has definitely changed my mind about it. No longer am I worried about how I will look or what people will think. I think I've already adopted the sly attitude haha. I'm excited to beat nature at its game. I'm even more excited for friend's reactions. I've talked to my girlfriend about it and I can tell she isn't amped on the idea, but she says as long as I'm happy, she's happy. My parents think the same way, although I can tell my mom is dreading it haha.

Hopefully I can get some pics up after I make the move.  O0

Glad I found this site, lot of cool people on here.

Oh and thanks to TimmJ for telling me to introduce myself.

Good choice! if you go sly you won't have to worry anymore
about losing hair  (cause actually you have no hair to lose  ;) )
and you will feel much better!

Even your parents/girlfriend that now have some concerns will
realize you feel much better and will be happy with your choice

Let's know how things will go!

Good luck!
Francesco

Welcome kpaxasaurus,

No need to stress over your hair. Good to read that you've already adapted to the SLY attitude.

No need to let hair rule over your life. There are far too many things you encounter on a dailty basis that stress you.

Hey Francesco Zonta, How are you sir? It's a privilege to be posting after such a world-famous baldy.  O0

No problems bro, its just that I see many new members that just lurk in here before making an intro.  We are just eager beavers wanting to meet you all.  Glad you took the step to intro yourself.  You will find this place a good place to call home, a place where you can come and chat with some good friends.  Just beware.....once you shave the dome, your bitten.  When you do finally take the big step, make sure you post a before and after....and give it the 30 day trial run.  I guarentee that by the end of the 1 or 2nd week....you will be hooked. Nothing like a freshly shaven dome in the morning....Good Luck bro,

Timmay

Welcome kpaxasaurus,

I'm new here too - went 'sly' about a month ago, and I'm not 19 yet.

I'll tell you, once you go sly, you'll never want to go back. I guess I'm at the end of my '30 day trial' and I certainly am hooked!

It was actually my family that encouraged me to go sly. My mum thought it was a little harsh at first, but then she accpeted that it looked a whole lot better than before.

I look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome xpax...

Awesome the decision you've come too...you'll dig being bald...promise!

Here's the deal though (and I've seen it a ton of times)...

For long haired dudes, slick bald=their former long hair...

maybe it's because like long hair, it's not mainstream and still considered a bit edgy (like longer hair)...you'll have that same standing out from Joe Blow persona...

Post some pics of your new balded mug when you get a chance...

Good luck bro! O0

Now unto more important things....Who is that woman in your avatar?  Is her hair naturally that dark?  Is there a booty back there?
