The wife and I just finished our first bowling league season and had a great time. We have both really taken to it and have done pretty good for it being our first "real" bowling situation.
I went from a 120 average to a 147 average this year and got awards for 200 game, 500 series, 100 pins over average, most improved average and high handicap game.
We signed up to bowl the summer league and the resident pro is hounding me to bowl tournements because I am consistently bowling 20 - 40 pins over my average. He says I can make some good money this summer.... but I dont want to get too serious, I like to have fun.
so, anyone else here into bowling? -

I love bowling but don't do it too often anymore. I bowled in Leagues for years....... Carried a 170 average the last year I bowled. We just took the kids recently and I bowled a 176.
My high game back in the old days was 242........... I was unconcious that night....... -

I used to bowl really well, around 200. Now, I've lost my mojo and can barely break 100.

I did a lot when I was a kid. Both my parents did too. Since I had the surgery to repair my wrist, we don't make it out very often. I hurt like crazy the next day if we over do it, which we usually do.

Used to belong to a league with a bunch of the teachers after school each week. Haven't done it for a few years, too much else to do.

Used to bowl a lot. Career high 252. Still have the same ball (it's purdy.....rose & gray swirly thing with "SCHRO" on it). Occasionally go out to the lanes when we feel like sippin' a few frosty pops and killin' some time. Hit 201 a few months ago after a lay off.
I had mentioned it to friends that I'd like to get into a league, but like Paul, I got too much on my plate already. -
