That's exactly what it is where I'm at. Tornado sirens have been going off all night. This could be a long night. Living in "Tornado Alley", you'd think I be used to this by now. This is the first of the season for us.

Yes Paul...he is.. Its suppose to be here in the wee hours of the morning. So I should go to bed early tonight ehh? Ricky..Ihope you are going to be ok. Nothing worse than dealing with Tornado's at night...you cant see anything. I would rather see that stuff during the day at least you can get visuals.
Praying for ya bro

When I woke up this morning, all appeared to be calm and untouched. On my way into the office I heard reports of some heavy damage; especially up north. There's quite a bit on downed trees and power lines. Several thousands are without power this morning. There are also isolated reports of houses and business that were destroyed. Most of this is on the Missouri side of the state line and north of the Missouri river.
On a brighter note, were forcasted for beautiful weather for the weekend.

Storms havent reached here yet....yet, I say. They have slowed down on their movement to the east. Might have something to do with me putting my red and whites up on a flag pole. The school is going ahead to the zoo, Annie is all excited. She was afraid they were going to cancel it and its her birthday. Happy 8th Birthday Annie!

Rick I hope all is well with you and your family. That is certainly one thing that I do NOT miss about living in the Midwestern US. The damn tornados. I have had nightmares about them since I was a young boy and used to suffer panic attacks when there would be a Tornado Warning on TV or a warning siren would go off.
What is so incredible about these weather phenemenon is that they happen almost nowhere else on earth except the USA and Canada

Glad to here you're safe Rick. Enjoy the beautiful weekend.
Unfortunately the weather you had is headed for the Jersey shore.

Timmmay please wish Annie a happy birthday.
Did you buy her that Barbie fishing rod? If you didn't, and something tells me you didn't, here's a Barbie cake for her. All that pink is making me sick.
