If you could render any species extinct, which one would it be?

I know I've spoken of my hatred of deer flies in the northwoods, but, in a way I love them. If not for the deer flies I might never have made the decision to go SLY.
But if I could render any species of critter extinct with a snap of my fingers I would have to select:
TICKS!
Deer ticks, wood ticks, dog ticks, rocky mountain spotted fever ticks.....all of the eight legged blood suckers. As far as I can determine the only functions they perform in the world are sucking my blood, carrying ugly diseases, and giving birth to more ticks who suck my blood, yadda, yadda, yadda.
The reason I bring this up is that tick season is already in full swing up here in northern WI. I've already picked a few off myself and my wife and I have found engorged ones in the house that we figure fell off the dog.
I hate them!

Ticks I can see so I can deal with them. I would wipe out the darn Pine Spiders we have in the U.P. Big, hairy nasty things that are always suprising me and freaking me out. Rats would come in a close second.

Ants, my son is allergic and we found out the hard way. His reaction the first time he got bit wasn't bad. Wife took him to the doctor and they said if it happens again call 911 immediately.

I have had 3 tick bites in the last 2 years, one being very serious that attached itself to my groin area. My man balls swelled up to the size of grapefruits. It was an allergic reaction and went down after a few days. I hate them!
But if I could make one species completley extinct it would be cockroaches. My skin crawls at the thought of them scurrying over my kitchen bench and childs toys.

On the tick bite thing all I can say is
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I am also not a big fan of cucarachas. We did a crackhouse raid once in a place where the power was turned off. While doing the search of the house I opened up a refrigerator and all I could see was a dark mass moving inside. I jumped back and shined my flashlight on it and it was a literal wave of roaches that were piled up about 2 feet high in the fridge and when I opened the door the whole pile just started to roll out.

Actually, can I eradicate a second species? I'd like to get rid of our giant Texan mutant roaches.

These suckers can get to be about 3 inches long and the love to crawl into bed with you or drop into your lap when you least expect it.
