I keep tryin', but it's not jivin'..
there's a cool vid I'd like to hook you dudes up with....
Anyone, anyone?
Can't think of anything that'd be Mac-specific about it.
I always throw out the Mac thing because sometimes there might be a difference..
but Tyler helped out!

lmao....I read his comment, then came to your conclusion, then was like "Maybe he was talking to someone named "Mac" who I've never heard from on these forums...."

Well, thanks for pointing out my stupidity...
Since Mac's are drop and drag based (and it wasn't working this time, I thought that there may be something I was doing wrong)...
we don't do a lot of 'right click" PC stuff on Mac's, and I thought I was looking over something simple..
Aww, yea thanks for your guy's time to jot down something constructive on this....

Dude dude, we were just messin with you....Don't take it personally...
I have right click on my mbp and use it all the time, so I don't know why you "don't do a lot of right click PC stuff".....What kind of Mac are you on? If you are on a laptop, you know you can enable the "two finger trackpad right click" thing in "System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse" right? If you're on a desktop, you can just plug in any mouse you want and OS X will recognize left and right clicks....And all the other buttons if you have more than two buttons on your mouse.....
Sorry dude, I just read your first post and couldn't quite understand what you were gettin at....
I recently installed the latest incarnation of the Yahoo messenger, and as soon as I open the application, it disconnects on me, and then just as quickly as it had disconnected, it reconnects or hangs. Anyone else experience this, or have any ideas as to how to correct this?
I dont know about Yahoo messenger... but you can use Trillian instead of the yahoo messenger program using your Yahoo messenger screen name etc. and still retain all of your buddies and connect with AIM users as well.
I have used Trillian for years now and I like it.
http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/You can download Trillian basic for free.
I use iChat on my Mac for the Video chat feature that came with the latest incarnation of OSX.
Not sure what system (mac or pc) you are on but both of those work excellent for me.

Sounds like a bug in the code to me. As suggested, Trillian works ok. I use Kopete which is a Linux app very similar to Trillian.

I downloaded Trillian, and then I tried to open the exe file, and I couldn't. I'm running OSX, but when I went back and re-read the web site that I downloaded Trillian from, it indicates that the software is for Windows. Dang
Hmm, I wasn't aware that iChat didn't have a Yahoo Messenger protocol....But anyway, besides iChat, most people consider an IM program named "Adium" to be the best instant messenger as it lets you connect to several different protocols (MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AIM, GTalk) simultaneously. I'm familiar with Trillian as well, but only on Windows XP so I can't give you any advice on that with respect to OS X.
