And watch out in the sun! You may have black skin that's used to tanning, but I don't know if your freshly revealed scalp will react the same way. So be sure to apply some sunblock, just in case.

Interesting thread. Let's face it. I'm just a point away from being a ConeHead. http://www.hulu.com/watch/4187/saturday-night-live-the-coneheads-at-home Fine with me I loved the movie.

It did really surprise me how tall my noggin looked first time I shaved. That said, i don't think the overall shape is bad so I pull it off but I have seen folks with head shapes I think should be covered with hair.

Cool thread, mann!
It doesn't show that well on my avatar, but I have an indentation in my skull on the right side.

In my younger days, before I went sly permanently, I always thought my cranium stuck out a bit too far...I had a friend that said my head reminds him of a boxing glove...hmmmm.

My head shape was a big concern before I went sly, I must admit.  But after a few days I got used to it.  Now 44 days later, I am completely used to it and it does not even occur to me.  A funny looking shaved head is better than funny looking half grown, balding, horse shoe, comb over hairstyle.  Man I don't know why people hold on to a few strands of hair so dearly in the 21st century.

Bald is so accepted these days, with or without a “perceived” funny head shape.

Really no debate here.  Each guy has a great head, no matter the shape. It's YOU.  Show it off proudly.

The one big thing that always stopped me from shaving earlier (been doing it a year now), is that I have a ridge on the top of my head that is very similar to Jason Taylor, who, like Andre said, really does have that ridge (as do Kelly Slater, Freddie Ljungberg, and David Beckham).

Exactly...and all those dudes are 1000% better looking than me (I'm sure Travman has me beat too ;))...

chicks don't look at a head shape or bump...it's all in the smile and a nice looking face bro's...AND CONFIDENCE!!!

Do not worry about headshape...

I have a "perfect shaped" head...and  THAT hasn't gotten me one friggin' extra look or date back in the day, I'm sure!

That bump/ridge looks pretty small on those guys. I have a bump sort of like David Beckham. Bugs the hell out of me but I need to get over it...

This was one of my biggest fears about going sly. A few people have told me, though, that I have a nicely shaped head for it. Nice boost for my confidence!
