headblade

well i bought a head blade and was not really impressed ..it may be my dome but i get a better shave from my Mach 3 or my fusion.......anyone else find it difficult to cut there dome....

Yeah man, it takes a while to get used to it. Once you do though, it's awesome. Keep working with it, you'll get used to it.

I'm the same way.  I gave up on mine a long time ago.  When I didn't slice my head, it just didn't cut that close.  I suppose I could have gotten better at it with practice, but I figure why go through all the trouble when I get a great shave with a Fusion, Mach III, or Quattro.

This thread makes me wonder how I'll like it.  I got a HB sport and am planning on trying it out this weekend, figured it would take some time to do the first shave with it.

It was a quick learning curve for me with very little issues. The key is to make certain that the wheels (Sport version) or the little plastic nub on the back (Classic version) remain in contact with your scalp. The blade is set at the optimum angle.

If you got the sport, it could be that there is 3 blades.  Try using the Sensor or Atra blades.

I find myself rarely using the HB anymore. I stick to the Fusion Manual and get a great smooth shave with no nicks.

Triple blades are good for the start - no cuts - , but double blades guarantee a closer smoother shave.

I've never used the triple blades. I've always used Atra generics without issue.

I use the double blades on mine also.  The triple blades seem to not get as close.  Hang with the HBsport for a while, you will master it in no time.  I get a great shave with mine. Like Schro has commented..Keep teh wheels or the nub against the scalp.  That sounds more difficult than it is, just make sure you apply pressure with finger and no pressure on the blade area.  It does require some pressure on the blade area..but you will figure that out once you get use to it moving across your noggin.  Good Luck, but do what ever you feel more comfortable with.

Love my HeadBlade Sport!  :@` I can't imagine shaving my noggin' without it.

It did take a few shaves for me to get used to it.  Now I shave in 4-5 minutes in the shower every morning.  I'm going to try some Schick Extreme III blades in it to see if I like them but the originals are doing a good job and so are the CVS triples I recently bought.  O0

I use the HeadBlade sport with Sensor doubles, and have never tried anything else.  It was easy to get used to and provides me with a great shave.  I would highly recommend it...

My advice is don't give up after 1 or 2 tries... you could be missing out on the quickest, cheapest, and sometimes closest shave possible.

I am of the same opinion, I hear you have to get used to using it but I will stick to my mach 3 for now..
The headblade does look cool however sitting on my sink..

I really like headslick for shaving though....

Just keep working with it.  I am relatively new to it myself 3 weeks roughly.  I know i cant use the atras I tore a few chunks out! I am having a lot better luck with the sensor excel blades though.
