Any Bulldog Lovers out there?
« on: April 08, 2008, 05:07:11 PM »
Bulldogs are like Seinfeld....either ya love'm or ya don't understand why people would like them.

Despite their fierce "look," Bulldogs are one of the most loveable, good-natured and affectionate breeds in dogdome.

My wife and I have wanted one since we were married 15 years ago.  They're very expensive and we just haven't been able to afford one.

Well, our patience paid off.  In honor of my pending birthday and coming across a KILLER deal from a breeder here in Denver....we've fulfilled a long-time desire.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....I give you....."JIMMY"

CLASSIC!  :*)) O0

Sorry Rob, that's just sooo ............YOU.
I personally think BDogs are cool, though I don't think I could own one. A friend of mine had one growing up and that dog had THE WORST gas imaginable. Supposedly it's pretty prevalent in the breed.

That aside, Jimmy is a cool looking dog.

They say dogs "resemble" their owners, huh?  :*))  What's funny is that never even dawned on me!   I've loved bulldogs since I was an emaciated, long-haired rocker (when an Afghan would have fit the bill).

Good catch there !!   :*))

Yeah....flatulence is characteristic of Bullies....

But so far not an issue with "Jimmy", thankfully.

Great dog Rob.  I love bulldogs.  Not only are they the Marine Corps Mascot but the mascot of my university. Have wanted one for years too, but with my work schedule, can't have a dog.  Good Luck Jimmy, know ya got a great home.

I love bulldogs, although I am a beagle man myself I think they are one of the coolest dogs with great personalities.

Great dog Rob.

Take it easy on him Jimmy, he will learn...

I also grew up with a beagle.  Had the same dog from the time I was 3 till he died when I was in college.  They're still my favorite dog.

I do love bulldogs, however I don't think Jimmy would be a good dog for a five mile run....then again, I don't think Robmeister is a good five mile run owner either.  :*)) :*)) :*))

I love Bulldogs but have never owned one. A guy in town has two of them.

After my last greyhound had to be put down in february 2007 we decided to go for small dogs since we're on the go a lot. We now have two Shihtzus.... great little dogs...... and I have a Boston Terrier of my own named Cooper. Must be something about those flat faces and gas because Cooper can clear a room with no problem.....
