I wear a beanie when it's really cold, otherwise I just let the dome shine for everyone to see.

I've always worn hats, ever since I can remember. Shaving my head was actually one of the best things ever because now I'm free to remove my hat whenever I want and not have to worry about having hat head/hair. But I pretty much wear a hat 90% of the time of not at work, and going sly has only made it easier

Yeah, welcome aboard Z!
Wearing hats... I'd have to say more. In winter my noggin' gets too cold especially on windy days without a hat and in the summer I wear a hat more often so I don't get too much sun when I'm outside all day.

I have a St. Baldrick's baseball cap that I wear in nice weather just to keep sun exposure minimal. I winter I have a black brimless Stormy Kromer. It is very north woods thug!

I wear hats when its cold or raining but I take them off indoors usually.
I also wear hats just for fun, I have a pretty good collection of kangol and other fedora/stingy brim type hats. Usually wear those out at night or whatever.
If it is really hot and I am going to be in the sun all day (golfing, festivals, etc.) I wear a ball cap.
I have always worn hats though, I cant say I wear them more since I have been sly, my head not being shaved seems like a lifetime ago.

I have a wide variety of hats that i manages to put together before i was bald to combat bad hair days. I still wear one a few times a week out of habit.

Off duty, I wear a traditional cattlemens crease cowboy hat with a 4" brim. Resistol felts in the winter, any good straw in the summer.
Just encourage everyone to wear a good hat in the sun or at least wear sunbelt. I had to work a natural death recently of a relatively young man who died from skin cancer that started on his temple. He had an outdoor job. It was horrible and it was the WORST thing Ive seen as a cop. The poor man must have been in horrible pain in his final days. So, please protect your head and all exposed areas. Sunblock is good but keeping direct sun off your skin is best.

I used to wear a hat everywhere. Now I very rarely wear one, but I always have one with me. I burn easily and very careful not protect the dome. I have also found that I'm a lot more picky about he hats I have. I've gone from all ball caps to beanies and boonie caps.

I just let my new sly dome shine. One guy today said it is really shiny. I considered it a compliment.

toques more in the winter because its damned cold. No hats in the summer. No need as I no longer have bed head or the need to cover up bad hair.

I wear a hat or head cover of some sort about the same.
I seem to be susceptible to heat-stroke so have to keep covered and well hydrated in the sun. That hasn't changed from when I had hair.
I notice the chill in the air a little more now so go for something knitted in the winter. That may be an age related thing.

Couldn't wear hats befoe Sly, it would mess up the carefully arranged and sprayed "Do", now occassionally--particularly when I'm coming or going to the gym in the morning when it's cold--in New Orleans anything less than 50 degrees--I've got a beanie, and sometimes a hat. Now after the cold weather is over, I've got some 45 SPF to spray on before heading out for long spring/summer days in the sun, Nivea 15 SPF if an ordinary day in and out of sun, otherwise, just the non-SPF factor stuff--BaldGuyz, whatever, for the office. Got to avoid another skin cancer.

It depends. If I'm out chaining/strapping down a load and know I'm going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time I'll wear a skullcap, hat, or ball cap to prevent sunburn and skin cancer.
In the Winter I wear beanies and skullcaps for the cold when working outside. As I knit as a hobby all of my beanies and skullcaps are ones I make myself.
Anyone who may be interested can see a few of them I've made here.
