Guys, this was totally real....This guy watched it on HDTV and posted this on Youtube:

"I watched this on HD, and it is not a skull cap. You can the razored hair bumps that many people who shave their heads get. They look like zits, and Pat had them. I watched it a couple of times, and it was real. That, and you could hear his voice crack when he said that he was tired of living a lie. Yes, it was April 1st, but they have had 25 April 1st shows...why would he do this now if it were not real?

Pat looks great bald!"

I guess it was a joke because he had the full head of hair tonight.  Unless the network made him where a piece again.  But I doubt it.  It was most likely an April Fool joke.

I dont think it was an April Fools Joke.  If you go back and watch the video and notice that he doesnt say APRIL FOOLS!  He just says Happy April Fool's everybody.  Just my observation...

Looks real to me, and by watching his mannerisms, I could tell he was a little uncomfortable with the whole thing.  I say it's for real.
