Ok, I know a few Bro's here have played GH2 and GH3, so I am wondering if any of you have the Rock Band game. A friend of mine who plays drums kept pushing this game on me and wanted to link up and have me do the vocals (for those unaware I sing alot of Karaoke) with a few others on the instruments. So I broke down and got the master set with all the instruments. The drums are kinda cool, but I am no drummer. The guitar is good for bass but the GH3 guitar works better for the guitar, although if you play guitar its difficult to get out of the chord habit. Anyway, I started the solo tour on vocals at medium to get a feel for this game, pretty simple although some of the songs I can do without. I blew through the tour, so my son bets me I cannot beat the game on expert.
Being one who can't have his son issue a challenge and not take it, I started the solo tour on expert. I have completed almost every song, and I believe I have made it to the final, which happens to be Long Time by Boston. I have made it through this song all the way until the last phrase and fail, it has been 4 days and this thing is driving me nuts.
I thought the Iron Maiden was tough (took 5 tries), but Boston has proven that Iron Maiden was a piece of cake!
Just curious if anyone else has this game and knows any tricks that might help me beat this thing before I lose my mind. I have found nothing worth while on the net.
