Yes I can relate to that very much. I have a daughter who is just turning 15 this year. She seems so much older and even though I am really proud of her for all the choices she has made...or choices she hasnt made.....I just dont want her to grow up any more. Hard to imagine that in 4 short years she will be going off to college and really being exposed to what it is like to be an adult. I wouldnt wish to go back to my highschool years in the world we live in today for nothing...but I do wish I was a teenager again. There are so many things that I wish I could go back and do over ...or to even just do it. What we do in our younger years...sets our path for most of our young adult life. People can change.....no doubt about that, but just enjoy the time you have in the here and now. Dont worry so much about tomorrow...and never worry about yesterday, cause those days are already gone, you cant ask for them back. Thanks for the song Razor....I truely related to that song.

Thanks. I
almost have my whole CD collection copied over into my iTunes. I have about 3,400 songs copied and a few more to go. It's been a real trip down memory lane. Some of this stuff I haven't listened to in years. I have to go searching on the net for the artwork for a lot of these albums that are out of print. It's been a bit of a shock to realize how old some of this stuff is. Twenty years goes by too damn fast.

I'd love to have a copy of that library. I've just not spent the time to put much of one together. It's so much easier to turn on the radio than to take the time to build your own collection.
I just bought a car that has connection to plug in an MP3/IPod. I need to start working on coping all of my old stuff so that I can listen to it more. Right now it's just a bunch of CD's sitting on the shelf.

I can't find much that I like on the radio these days. If I hear Carrie Underwood scream her way through
All-American Girl one more time, I swear my ear drums will explode. I never thought I'd ever see the day that I wouldn't want to keep up with current music, but with only a few exceptions -- mostly from artists that I've been following for a long time -- I'm just not feeling what's on the radio these days. Must be a sign that I am getting old.

Those are so cool. I just bought an adaptor so I can play my iPod through the cassette deck in my car. Next car will have a place to dock an iPod for sure.
Back in 1981 I had a major crush on Juice Newton (remember her?) I had a couple of cassettes that I literally wore out. I just found MP3 albums of both on Amazon -- digitally remastered. I can't believe how good the quality is. I have a lot of old CDs that sound pretty crappy by today's standards. This is a major find for me; I haven't heard some of these songs in years!
awesome song, he's singing it now on the apprentice live
