The Next Day Look

Probably just me, usually is.

But does anyone else find that after shaving the dome and getting up the next day it looks better. Maybe even healthier than right after or even a few hours after it was shaved. I don't know what it is but I've been getting that the past few weeks. Maybe it's as simple as my skin has had more time to calm down. Plus right after some good sleep I guess the skin would look better, right?

I can't say I've ever noticed that, but I always think mine looks better an hour or two after shaving. Immediately after shaving my skin gets a little blotchy and it takes an hour so to clear up.

I cant say that my dome looks better the next day because by the time the next day arrives...its ready for a shave again. My dome in the mornings..after I shave looks dry. I put on aloe vera gel and it clears it up right then and there. Im good for all day, I dont have to add anything or do nothing. But like right now...it has been a good 18 hours since I have shaved and its ready for it again, but I wont do it until tomorrow when I jump in the shower.

Actually I find that my dome looks worse the next day. Probably because the damn stubble starts to come in. My favorite part after a headshave are the 5-8 hours or so afterward where it is slick and baby smooth with no shadow.
I have posted this a few times before but I have found that I am waiting every 2-3 days now to get that EXTRA smooth shave. So worth it.

Oh yeah, I totally agree with you guys on the part that the stubble starts to come back in but I'm talking about the overall healthy look to the dome. Irritations or any sort. Like I said, could just be me and it probably has something to do with the time of day we all shave too. Like for me, I shower and shave at the end of the night to save time in the mornings. But for most of you that shave in the mornings or the middle of the day it would make sense that your stubble would have grown back a lot more than mine. I usually shave around 8 or 9 pm at night. So I suppose that could be a factor in making sense out of what I'm trying to say here.

I agree, if you shave that late at night it does have a good look in the morning and minimal stubble.

But I still would shave in the morning before I go out just to have the Slyer look..

I have been shaving similar to JDog. I usually shave every other day now, with no more than 2 days between. I do have to agree on both points though. After about 3-4 hours after my shave it is amazingly smooth.
Lance has a point too, and it seems that any irritations, blotches you may get have had time to recover.
Usually after that first day of not shaving, I'm ready for my nice, smooth dome back, lol.

Yes, but ironically the 1st step involves shaving your head.
